America’s farmers and rural communities are already struggling to keep up with skyrocketing energy prices due to the administration’s disastrous war in the Middle East.
That’s why @SEEC and I are urging the administration to keep all energy options open to help lower costs and provide relief.

Despite promises to lower costs on day one, inflation continues to soar under Republican policies.
It’s time to end the disastrous war in the Middle East and remove tariff taxes that are driving up prices on hardworking families.
JUST IN: The US still has an inflation problem and it's getting worse again.
PCE Inflation rose to 3.6% in September. That's the highest since May.
Core PCE Inflation (excludes food and energy) ticked up to 3.1%. That's also the highest since May.
Bottom line: Inflation is back near a 3-year high. It's largely due to war in Iran, but there's legitimate concern that inflation is spreading beyond energy.
Inflation is rising, wages are falling, and American families continue to struggle under the leadership of President Trump and Republicans in Congress.
But the administration continues to lie about the impact of their policies.
For decades, Republicans have slashed taxes for the ultra-wealthy and giant corporations while refusing to raise the minimum wage for American workers.
As a result, workers continue to receive a smaller piece of the pie while conglomerates see record profits.

Tell that to farmers in Missouri who are being crushed by skyrocketing diesel prices.
Or Missouri families who are struggling to keep up with rising health care and grocery prices.
The current administration is completely out of touch with the challenges of working-class Americans.
