Thought a skating instructor was a hit? We also had a nursing home escapee! Lovingly named Linda, she showed up with her foley bag & all, ready to relive her teaching days & show students she’s STILL got it! You never know who you’ll run into on campus at Halloween!

She’s the one who runs our Vidalia front desk, keeps the chaos calm, puts up with everything we throw her way, & has a welcoming smile for everyone who walks through the door. Today, we’re especially proud to celebrate Mrs. Diane Green, a 10-year cancer survivor!
Literally sharpening their skills! Both campuses welcomed Steve Cochran from Icon Shears to teach lessons on one of the most important tools in cosmetology. Students learned that there’s a lot more to choosing the perfect pair of shears than meets the eye.
A new articulation agreement with South Georgia State! Graduates of STC’s Assoc of Science in Education can transfer seamlessly into SGSC’s Bachelor of Science in Elem/Special Education degree program. Next fall, SGSC will offer its Jr & Sr program on STC’s Vidalia campus.
