The more I interact with people on X, the more I realize how a handful of corrupt oligarchs have weaponized the law to intimidate and silence the truth. Armed with wealth amassed through political connections, they have created a culture of fear so pervasive that people have begun accepting lies as truth simply because a powerful billionaire utters them.
When money dictates truth and the law protects power instead of justice, democracy is in serious trouble.
Unbelievable.
Satyameva Jayate: The truth alone triumphs! I stand alone, but I stand with the truth.
My complaint against @gautam_adani Ji and @narendramodi Ji and their associates against the crimes committed, we need support and good wishes from all who want to eradicate corruption. #AdaniGate #AdaniBribe #ModaniGate
Which scene of the Friendship Files did you find most disturbing? For me it was the elephant fighting the earth mover to save its home.
What a strange phenomenon! Corruption is rampant, yet people are taught, conditioned, or coerced into remaining silent.
What exactly are they afraid of? Retribution? Being labeled anti-national? Social ostracism?
I’m still trying to understand the psychology of fear that makes people afraid to speak the truth.
My own high school WhatsApp group felt I was a danger to them - for speaking the truth. One member even asked the admin to remove me. I quietly exited on my own.
When speaking the truth becomes a threat, fear has already won.
Please don’t let fearmongers stop you from questioning, thinking critically, and seeking the truth. Satyameva Jayate.
I’m genuinely confused. “Satyameva Jayate” - Truth Alone Triumphs - is India’s national motto, enshrined in its State Emblem.
Yet, in the very country that celebrates truth, people are afraid to speak it.
If truth is supposed to triumph, why are those who speak it made to fear the consequences?
What gives?
I know people are deeply emotional about their culture and history. But for heaven’s sake, set aside the past for a moment and look at what nepotism, unfair competition, and crony capitalism are doing to India’s future.
America didn’t become the world’s most powerful economy because of ancestral wealth. It prospered by embracing competition, meritocracy, and a simple philosophy: “May the best person win.” Put the right talent in the right job. Reward ability, not ancestry or connections.
That matching of talent with opportunity is the engine of innovation and prosperity.
India doesn’t even have to eliminate every form of corruption to unlock its potential. It must first dismantle crony capitalism.
A nation cannot prosper when connections matter more than competence.
Most Indians, accustomed to a service-driven economy, believe their taxes are being reinvested in the nation. They see a few roads, bridges and airports and celebrate development.
But the real looting happens at the level of crony capitalism. Income taxes are chump change compared to the trillions India potentially loses through corruption, monopolies and stolen opportunities.
That is why I call it the “rape of a nation.”
It isn’t just the theft of today’s wealth. It’s the theft of your children’s and grandchildren’s future.
While Dhurandhar portrays the horrors of Islamic terrorism inflicted on the people of India, The Friendship Files exposes another form of terrorism-economic terrorism: the alleged looting of a nation by its own government and its crony capitalists.
One comes from across the border. The other comes from within.
The people who coin terms like “Dimaagi Naxal” to demonize independent thinkers are actually LT76 themselves.
Dhurandhar exploits emotion-hate and revenge-turning public outrage over the Mumbai attacks into profit.
The Friendship Files appeals to reason, exposing how the powerful may be stealing the future of our children and grandchildren.
No profit motive. Just truth, reality, and a challenge to every Indian: THINK CRITICALLY.
Dhurandhar was made for money and, in my view, preaches hate. The Friendship Files was made to expose the truth, challenge the powerful, and inspire accountability.
One was driven by profit. The other by love for the country.
There’s a world of difference.
The Friendship Files is an opening shot at the illegitimate government and its cronies, declaring that the future of India's children-their hopes, dreams and aspirations-is NOT for SALE.
The IT Cell dudes are in complete disarray. They picked a fight with a tech bro. Big mistake. They’re about to learn that technology will always trump mindless human repetition.
Did the Ambanis learn the art of being “fake nice” from Bollywood, or did Bollywood learn it from the Ambanis? Who taught whom the fine art of smiling for the cameras while keeping up appearances?
