Banks refuse moldy money because the Federal Reserve officially classifies mold as contamination. Contaminated currency cannot go through a normal deposit: it must be double-bagged in tamper-evident clear bags marked CONTAMINATED, declared to the Federal Reserve in writing before it arrives, and once received it is destroyed, never recycled.

guys, i wish we had AI when i was doing web dev in 2006. jfc, what you can accomplish in 8 hours today is absolutely fucking wild.
anyway, i tore apart my art gallery, migrated it from Astro to Next.js, rebuilt the frontend, and rearchitected it as a standalone app that still lives seamlessly under my main website through path-based routing.
then i overhauled the JSON, built a standardized metadata schema and artwork taxonomy (aka tags), and added the foundation for filtering and discovering art by theme, subject, style, medium, color, blockchain, etc.
used 21 of my SuperRare artworks as the test collection.
basically turned the simple gallery i created the other day into a data-driven art catalog with its own architecture and room to grow.
8 hours from start to deploy.
what a fucking time to be alive.

As we prepare to sunset the old BrainDrops contract; we’re getting a makeover, a new collector experience, and a fun archival look at the evolution of AI art. These next couple months will be important for our journey together.

A preview of some things we've been working on at @braindrops_art . . . more to come this week.
nothing to see. just an aging warlock with his book of shadows and pet crow. 🧙🏻♂️📙🐦⬛
thanks @aljaparis!
that means @XCOPYART has a market of its own, driven by its own collectors and demand. we should all be so lucky to get to that point.
i have no desire to start using a new social platform. until someone can unseat X, this is where i stay mostly.
i love the little techy details that most won't care about. like setting up a cdn for the gallery app i'm working on for the website at a short url via srlm[dot]net i've been holding onto for this very reason.
el Diablo (Skull #3955) is back in the collection after 14 months ☠️
