Sharples School

Our Silver DofE students are up bright and early and out on their training walk! It’s a brisk one this morning! 🥾❄️

Happy Diwali to all our students, staff and families celebrating this weekend. 💜

Our Y7 pupils put their mathematical skills to the test at our exciting Maths Whodunnit event! Teams of enthusiastic volunteers gave up their time after school to work collaboratively, solve clues and use their problem-solving skills to crack a murder mystery. Adding to the excitement, their very own maths teachers dressed up as the suspects, making the investigation even more entertaining! There was plenty of teamwork, logical thinking and mathematical detective work along the way. Congratulations to our winning team, who successfully solved the mystery and took home some well-deserved chocolates. A fantastic effort from everyone involved! 🕵️👀

We enjoyed some Bollywood dancing at lunchtime as part of our Diwali celebrations. A big thanks to Mrs Patel for leading the dancing! 💜

Our students decorated the playground with Rangoli patterns today to celebrate the first day of the festival of Diwali #Diwali 💜
