Real money out of Sivan today. ₦200 left a Sivan balance and landed in the receiver's Opay and Palmpay wallets, on live rails.
Small number. The path is the point: a freelancer gets paid abroad, and the money reaches a wallet in Nigeria without three middlemen taking a cut
Day 13 of 30 Days of @boardyai: shipped Sivan Community Bridge on WhatsApp.
A group number answers questions in trade groups. Anything with money moves to a private chat via signed link.
Your balance never appears where a stranger can screenshot it.
26/26 tests passing.
Mainnet live. Real Naira moving on WhatsApp.
100 naira transfer settled in 0.15s, recipient credited. 3 bank deposits landed and the ledger sorted itself, automated.
Then my partner bought 100 naira MTN airtime without asking me anything.
Buying from someone on WhatsApp or Telegram you’ve never met is always a standoff:
• Buyer is scared to pay before delivery.
• Seller refuses to ship before payment.
Sivan fixes both inside chat:
Lock payment - Confirm delivery - Instant payout in 0.8s.
Nobody wants to leave their messaging app to verify freelance deliverables or click unauthenticated links. @boardyai
Today, we shipped native in-chat deliverable verification for Sivan payment Ai on WhatsApp.
Here is how real conversational commerce works:
#buildinpublic
A service provider finishes work and sends proof (photo, video, PDF) directly into the chat.
The client receives the high-resolution deliverable inside their conversation thread.
The client zooms in, reviews the proof, and taps "Release Payment".

Engineering log, 30 Days of @boardyai:
A notification didn't fire when an order was created on WhatsApp. That's the moment a freelancer needs to know a client just committed to a job.
Fixed. Now closing in on more edge cases and testing extensively.
We’re building Sivan around a simple need: agree on work, pay with confidence and get paid through familiar tools. Our focus is making that journey reliable, including the refunds, disputes and recovery steps people rarely see in a demo.
We’re organising Sivan’s investor materials around clear evidence: what works today, what is still being tested, how funds move and what remains before launch. Progress should be easy to understand, not hidden behind a pitch deck.
Preparing Sivan Service Agreements for launch means checking more than environment variables. Network settings, settlement retries, refunds and reconciliation all need to agree before real funds enter the system.
Tracked down two live bugs today. Service agreement invite was hitting the seller twice every time. Also fixed a 404 where the payment gateway was routing /api/api/. instead of /api/. on NGN balance payments.
Both fixed. Both pushed. Back to building.

Fun bug from staging: an agreement ID SIV-482626-415D got parsed as a transfer amount of ₦482,626,415 because a regex stripped all non-digits in an open session.
Rule: Never parse amounts with loose regex digit replacement. Strict number validation only
Building payment infrastructure so African freelancers can get paid in stablecoins and settle into local bank accounts directly inside WhatsApp.
More raw shipping notes, rail mechanics, and the bugs we hit along the way.
The next 100 million on-chain users are not looking for leverage or yield farming. They need autonomous, reliable rails to earn globally and spend locally.
