🆕 Better stacks! Blurs on groups! Glass and fade combined! It’s update day! 🆕 First up, we’ve added min/max sizes, relative sizing, negative gap and z-index order options to stacks. Plus a whole bunch of smaller improvements, all based on your feedback. ↓

Fun little thing we just shipped: you can now pick a thumbnail size in the web app. Go small if you’re a document hoarder. Go large for better visibility if you’re old enough to remember the Paradox keygen music.

We shipped a command bar in the web app a little while back. It’s the quickest way to get around and get things done. All you’ve gotta do is hit Cmd-K (or Ctrl-K on Windows) and start typing.

Overlapping avatars and cards were the most requested stacks feature. Now you can give a stack a negative gap to overlap those items, then pick how they stack up. (Pun intended)

small detail in the @sketch beta: disappearing toasts show a progress ring around the X button, so you know you don’t have to do it yourself oh, and this menu to send frames to other pages (or sections!) is also new

In case you missed it, Sketch has now got you covered for: 1. Blurs on groups 2. Multiple shadows on frames (without fills) and groups 3. Glass and fade together 4. Fade on a layer that already has lower opacity

Sometimes you just want to paste a shadow, or a fill, or a border, or an effect… Luckily, you can! Use Option-Command-C to copy a layer’s properties, right-click another layer and choose what you want to paste. Also, holding Option while you paste replaces existing styles.

The prototype player is great for…playing prototypes, BUT! also for previewing changes you make in situ. Turn off Follow Selection to keep it pinned to your current selection. Now you can switch to something else, like a Symbol and see changes you make in context.
