Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana says the three major taxes that generate revenue for the government are Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax and VAT. He says that adjusting the rest of the other taxes doesn't “move the needle”. Godongwana states that he cannot, for now, rule out a future tax increase.
