Keir Starmer’s suppression of Palestine Action was one of the tawdriest parts of his unpopular rule.
Now, under his successor Andy Burnham, the Labour government has banned activist and scholar Andreas Malm from visiting the country: jacobin.com/2026/11/malm-roo…

Education that’s properly funded. Staff who are respected. Students who aren’t saddled with debt.
These are not utopian demands. It is the future that the next generation deserves!

Waiting 20–30 years to settle here permanently is a sick joke & beyond comprehension.
This is not integration. It is institutionalised insecurity. Integration cannot be demanded while belonging is denied. @SUTRScotland @Manchester_SUTR @S_LndnSUTRacism @STWuk @GlasgowStopWar

“We called a mass meeting to discuss the new arms race, supported by both Westminster & Welsh Governments, with money being taken away from our communities to fund it. What would Cardiff look like if the money being spent on preparing for war was used to meet people’s needs?"

The US has attacked Qeshm Island and now Trump has issued more military threats against Iran. We have to stop Trump & Netanyahu’s war. If attacks widen, join the emergency protest at Downing Street Saturday 1pm. #NoWarOnIran

BREAKING: We've just confirmed that Israel's stall at the World Travel Market in London is advertising tourism in the illegally occupied Palestinian territory.
@Ed_Miliband promised he would ban advertising like this. Will he now stick to his word?

A torture chamber of Zelensky was uncovered near Kiev, where over 40 mobilised men were held captive by Ukraine's National Guard. The youngest victim was reportedly just 14 years old. There is now great outrage and riots in Ukraine against the henchmen of Zelensky and NATO.
Fantastic that @unisontheunion is now backing the 20 November International Youth Strike Against War and the 21 Nov anti-war mobilisations nationally.

Hopefully this is the shape of things to come...
A remarkable joint Ukrainian-Russian operation has secured the evacuation of 15 busloads of residents from the Russian-controlled frontline town of Oleshky.
Those on 11 buses earmarked for people wanting to go Ukrainian-controlled territory were then transported in four Russian military planes to Belarus where they travelled onwards to Ukraine.
The other four buses were for people being relocated to Crimea. Some residents chose to stay in Oleshky.
It shows what can be done with constructive mediation and when humanitarian consideration are put first. ft.com/content/55dfa145-4078… via @ft
