One year ago today, we celebrated a milestone we'll never forget.
In the heart of Prague, the city where Trezor was born, we took the stage at our very own Trustless by Design event to introduce Trezor Safe 7 to the world.
It was more than just a product launch.
It was the culmination of years of innovation, countless hours of hard work, and the dedication of an incredible team united by one mission: making self-custody more secure, accessible, and convenient for everyone.
Since then, Trezor Safe 7 has gone on to earn recognition, including Best Hardware Wallet of the Year and a Red Dot Award for Product Design.
But what makes us proudest is the people behind it. Every team member whose passion and dedication brought Trezor Safe 7 to life.
One year later, that same passion continues to drive us forward.
To our team, our partners, and everyone who has supported us along the way: thank you for being part of this journey. 💚
CryptoBilis update
We've been made aware, through responsible disclosure, of a single hardware implant in a Trezor Safe 5 device bought from the reseller CryptoBilis in August 2026.
No CryptoBilis buyer has reported a loss of funds to us.
IMPORTANT: If you bought a Trezor from CryptoBilis from March 2026 onwards, we know this is unsettling. Here’s what to do:
Already using it?
Move your funds to a newly created wallet with a new seed as soon as possible. Do not reuse the old seed in any wallet, hardware or software. If you don’t have another secure hardware wallet available, we recommend temporarily migrating your funds to a software wallet or an exchange you are familiar with.
Not set up yet? Don’t set it up, and never enter your existing wallet backup on it.
We haven’t received the device to confirm this report, but based on the customer’s description, we’re treating it as credible and sharing it now so customers who purchased a Trezor via CryptoBilis can secure their funds as a precaution. Our security team will examine the device as soon as it arrives.
On October 9, 2026, we removed CryptoBilis as a reseller following reports of tampered Ledger devices sold through it. Since then, we have been inspecting Trezor devices that customers bought from CryptoBilis and have found no signs of tampering on any of the four devices we’ve received so far.
NEVER share your wallet backup (recovery phrase) with anyone. Trezor Support will never ask for it.
If you are affected by this incident, please keep your CryptoBilis device and contact Support to receive a new Trezor hardware wallet: trezor.io/support#open-chat
We're investigating and will post updates here as soon as we know more. Thank you to the customer who reported this through our responsible disclosure program, and to @SEAL_911 for working alongside our teams on the response. Reports and engagement like this help us protect everyone else.

Wallets started on paper. Now they’re learning to work with AI agents.
At #TOKEN2049, we sat down with @MetaMask and @Trezor at our booth to talk about where wallets are heading: simpler cross-chain swaps, smoother onboarding, and AI agents that act for you while you still sign off on every move.
🎙 Francesco, Director of DevRel, @MetaMask
🎙 Denis, Software Product Lead at @Trezor
🎙 Yana, our Head of B2B & Partnerships
Moderated by Kelvin Sparks of @TheBlockCo
One point they all agreed on: trust comes first, features second.
Would you let an AI agent use your wallet?

Earn yield on your ETH and stablecoins with Trezor-grade security.
token2049 kept me busy
networking, creating content, running from one meeting to another
at least i wasn’t the only one working
my stables were earning yield the whole time
put your stables to work too with @Trezor!
💚
Getting my hot wallets drained back in 2025 was an expensive lesson. $60k worth of NFTs and coins gone after one malware download through social engineering.
I can't undo that, but I've changed how I look after my cryptos. Moving funds to a hardware wallet regularly is now part of my routine.
So when I met the @Trezor team during TOKEN2049 in Singapore, I was really excited to try the Safe 7 hardware wallet.
The overall unboxing and setup experience was great.
Connected wirelessly with clear and simple instructions. The device feels even sleeker in hand than it looks on camera. (Watch the video!!)
Also did a quick test transaction which went thru smoothly.
Honestly my very favorite hardware wallet so far.
Following recent supply-chain incidents, we decided to reduce the number of resellers so we can more effectively check those we work with.
Let us be very clear: there is not a single piece of evidence that Trezor devices have been compromised.
This is a preventive step, taken out of an abundance of caution. We also want to thank everyone involved for the cooperation, and for the years of work putting Trezor in people’s hands.
