“What we’ve learned is to take time to reflect and appreciate how special this is," Mike Jacobs said. "This is a tremendous mile marker but it is not the finish line.”

I helped make a killer social video that includes Henry's extended answer to this question - unfortunately, MLS wanted literal thousands of dollars for the right to use the footage of Miller's free kick from 2012, so... we'll leave it there for now. I tried!

Nashville SC has been the model of consistency since joining MLS in 2020. One of the very best examples of executing an expansion build + evolving from that success
- Made the playoffs in 6 of 7 seasons
- Two trophies (2026 Shield, 2025 Open Cup)
- Squads have included an MVP (Hany Mukhtar) & Defender of the Year (Walker Zimmerman)
And would be surprised if BJ Callaghan (coach), Max Woledzi (DotY) & Brian Schwake (GKotY) aren’t at least finalists this year.
🛡️ NASHVILLE SC HAVE WON THE 2026 MLS SUPPORTERS SHIELD
Long settled but now mathematically clinched with three matches left
➕ On 70 points… Nashville needs 5 more from remaining 3 games to set new MLS single-season points record
