Boosie Badazz says he and 2Pac have something in common when it comes to getting recognition for their music. 👀
During a recent Instagram Live, Boosie explained that his outspoken personality, controversial statements and legal troubles have overshadowed his accomplishments in hip-hop.
He argued that the same thing happened to Tupac while he was alive, with people focusing more on his troubles than his talent.
Boosie also believes he'd be recognized as one of the greatest if people judged him strictly by his music.

Federal prosecutors are reportedly bringing more serious allegations against Lil Durk ahead of his November 4 bond hearing. 👀
According to court paperwork discussed by Trap Lore Ross, prosecutors allege that OTF members and associates arranged for two paid hitmen to murder Stephon Mack in Chicago in January 2022.
The filing reportedly identifies Anthony Montgomery-Wilson and Preston Powell, claiming both pleaded guilty to participating in the killing for money.
Prosecutors are using the allegations to portray Durk as a leader of a violent criminal enterprise and argue against his release on bond.
Durk was previously acquitted in his separate federal murder-for-hire trial, but still faces another federal case.

Federal prosecutors are accusing the Chicago rapper of repeatedly violating prison rules while behind bars.
According to newly filed court documents, Durk allegedly used other inmates’ phone access, participated in unauthorized three-way calls, and smuggled in contraband communication devices to make HUNDREDS of phone calls.
Prosecutors also claim Durk refused to cooperate with prison staff attempting to search his cell for additional contraband just last week.
The feds argue these alleged violations show Durk cannot be trusted to follow the rules if released on bond and could pose a risk to witness safety.
These remain allegations from prosecutors, not proven findings.

Lil Durk’s fight to get released on bond just got more complicated. 😳⚖️
In newly filed court documents, federal prosecutors pushed back against Durk’s bond request, claiming some “Free Durk” supporters outside the courthouse were actually PAID protesters recruited through casting calls offering $125 for six hours.
Prosecutors also criticized the celebrity support letters submitted on Durk’s behalf, arguing that fame and industry connections shouldn’t earn him special treatment.
The government further alleged that celebrity appearances and organized demonstrations were intended to influence the proceedings.
The allegations could complicate Durk’s efforts to secure release, but the judge has not made a ruling based on these latest claims.

Louisiana rapper FG Famous, a close associate of the late JayDaYoungan, reportedly had more legal trouble waiting for him as he was set to be released from federal prison on November 2.
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Mark Amos, was scheduled to finish serving time for a federal firearms offense. However, Washington Parish jail records now show him booked on three racketeering counts tied to a separate state case.
FG Famous was previously named among 16 people indicted in a 2024 investigation involving alleged firearms and narcotics distribution in Louisiana.
The jail listing currently shows him as bondable. The racketeering allegations are separate from his federal conviction, and he is presumed innocent of the pending charges.

The Chicago rapper is fighting for his freedom after being acquitted of murder-for-hire charges in September. His legal team has put together a major bond proposal backed by music royalties, property, and financial guarantees, with support from JAY-Z, J. Cole, and others.
