Hakeem Jeffries, Nikki Fried and Chuck Schumer all three need to go. They fucked up Florida.
I said it before the election when I spoke to white voters at John Knox Village of Florida in Pompano Beach and at the Wynmoor Democratic Club forum in Coconut Creek. If Debbie Wasserman Schultz won District 20, it would turn off Black voters who already felt like the party took them for granted. I told the Democratic establishment and the Congressional Black Caucus the same thing. I asked them to step in and stand up for Black representation in Broward County.
Debbie could have run in District 22, the seat Democrat Pia Dandiya won. There was a way to compete in both districts and give Black voters in Broward a real shot at electing someone from their community. The establishment chose to protect an incumbent.
Then Angie Nixon asked Nikki Fried and Chuck Schumer for support in her U.S. Senate race. My understanding is they told her they’d get back to her. When it was time to show up, where were they? And in the congressional race, Fried backed Shevrin Jones. Over Oliver Gilbert didn’t have her support.
Now Byron Donalds has won the governor’s race, and 22% of Black men in Florida voted Republican. Why because they said if you’re gonna vote down racial lines why not them. Numbers don’t lie. People do. You can’t keep asking Black voters to show up for the party when the party won’t show up for them.
Jefferies did nothing to defend voters rights to representation. Fried and Schumer had a responsibility to show up when Angie Nixon asked for help. In my book, those are fireable offenses. All three need to go.

The @FHSAA denied Miami Carol City’s appeal? Take this fight to court in Miami and seek an injunction. Let a judge hear it.
If the rulebook calls for a four- or five-game suspension after an ejection, show us the rule that says these kids also lose their opportunity to compete in the playoffs. You can’t keep moving the goalposts and making up penalties as you go.
These decisions affect kids who worked all year for this opportunity. They deserve fairness, consistency, and rules applied equally to EVERY school.
Miami Carol City, fight for your kids. Let’s see what the judge has to say!
