They need:
•protection from violence, because 86 per cent of facility workers we surveyed have faced or witnessed it;
•visas that do not tie them to one boss;
•care owned for people, not for debt repayments.

🎉Congratulations to Jack & Jones workers in Türkiye who have won their first ever collective agreement!
The new agreement secures and improves workers’ existing rights, increases wages and guarantees regular pay rises. It includes a seniority incentive premium, bonus, child allowance and social allowance for the first time, and improves working conditions, secures supplementary health insurance for store employees and strengthens union representation and social dialogue across the stores.
“We did not simply sign a collective agreement; we secured the rights, dignity and future of Jack & Jones workers,” said Eyup Alemdar, President of @KOOPISSENDIKASI the union which represents the workers Türkiye. “This agreement marks an important milestone and lays a strong foundation for improving working conditions, strengthening social dialogue and advancing our members’ economic and social rights.”
“This is a hard-won victory for Jack & Jones workers in Türkiye. They organized, stood firm and have now secured their first collective agreement. Congratulations to Koop-Is and every worker who made this possible,” said Mathias Bolton, Head of UNI Commerce, “This agreement shows that when retail workers stand together, they win – and it sends a clear message to Jack & Jones that union rights must be respected wherever they operate.”
