Meet Spaceship Apeiron. From the Greek for boundless. Named by you → bit.ly/SpaceshipApeiron #NameASpaceship
Welcome home, Spaceship Apeiron.
Our newest spaceship completed its first flight today, from our factory in Mesa to Spaceport America in New Mexico. Details → bit.ly/ApieronArrives
Wheels down at @Spaceport_NM. Spaceship Apeiron is home.
This crowd got the best seat in the house at @Spaceport_NM.
Meet today ’s crew.
Pilot in Command Mike “Sooch” Masucci and Pilot Dan Alix will fly VMS Eve. Tori Chrichton will be the Flight Test Engineer aboard.
Spaceship Apeiron is on the move. Today it flies from Mesa, AZ to Spaceport America, NM. Take-off is scheduled for 10:00am PT. Stay tuned for live updates here on X.
Horizon. Explorer. Ascend. Apeiron.
One flies tomorrow. #NameASpaceship
We built it. You named it. On Oct 28, the name you voted for will be revealed to the world. Then our lead Delta Class Spaceship is set to fly from our Spaceship Factory in Phoenix-Mesa to its new home at Spaceport America → bit.ly/leadspaceshipreveal #NameASpaceship
Good vibrations only. 🛠️
Aeroelasticity Engineer II Ana Predescu takes us inside ground vibration testing on Spaceship. Our engineers suspended the vehicle on soft bungees to simulate flight, shook it with electrodynamic shakers and captured every response with 150+ sensors.
The result? A successful test with high-quality data gathered. Another key milestone on the road to flight.
Virgin Galactic and @AFResearchLab signed a 24-month research agreement to evaluate the integration of sensor systems with Virgin Galactic’s next-generation Spaceship to collect space weather data during flight → bit.ly/AFRL-PR
This layer of the atmosphere could shape everything from climate modeling to orbital tracking, yet it remains one of the least-measured regions of our planet. We believe our Spaceships can change that, by providing frequent, repeatable access to this part of the sky.

Two of our own just earned one of flight test's highest honors. Congrats to Michael "Sooch" Masucci and Andy Edgell, named 2026 Fellows of The Society of Experimental Test Pilots (@SETP_ORG). SETP Fellow is the Society's top membership grade. It recognizes pilots whose work has made a lasting contribution to aerospace and flight testing. Sooch and Andy have helped push the boundaries of what's possible in commercial human spaceflight. They bring skill, discipline, and a relentless focus on safety to every flight. We're proud to fly with them.
Today, Unity 35 flew.
VMS Eve carried VSS Unity to altitude for release and a glide flight back to @Spaceport_NM. Another great day of pilot training.
In the cockpit:
Eve: Mike Masucci, Dan Alix, Tori Crichton
Unity: Jameel Janjua, Nicola Pecile
