Void v1.1.11 is out & fully open source!

◆ Platform: A shared deployment platform for teams to host Void apps on @Cloudflare
◆ CLI: Provision resources and deploy Vite apps to Cloudflare or Void.
Build on Vite. Deploy on Void.

Thanks for having me @githubuniverse 🙏🏻
Feeling blessed to get the chance to talk about amazing open source projects like @vite_js plus, chatting with passionate devs, fellow maintainers, and engineers working on projects like @npmjs 🔥
In the next version of Oxlint, raw AST transfer will get 5x faster for js plugins (if you are using Node.js 24+).

In the next version of Rolldown
The cycle check in chunk merging is now incremental: it builds the chunk graph once, not once per merge
O(merges × graph) → O(graph + merges × reach)
Apps with thousands of dynamic imports build up to 37× faster

My colleague found a massive perf speedup for Oxlint JS plugins. V8 changed how object prototypes are initialized - `{ __proto__: X }` was a fast path last year, but no longer. Our mistake was not to notice perf had regressed on recent NodeJS versions. Shame on me, and props to @wan9chi!

In the next version of Rolldown
Plugins reading `chunk.code` or `renderedLength` no longer copy the chunk code from Rust to JS on every read
The bigger the bundle and the more plugins read `chunk.code`, the more you save
vite-plus v1.4.0 is out 🎉

Introducing tsrs: a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler 🦀
We are not forking TypeScript!
◆ In close collaborating with the TypeScript team
◆ Up to 8x faster than TS 7.0 & ~70% less memory
◆ Runs in WASM, so it works in your browser & on Workers
◆ Soon part of the Oxc toolchain

Replying to @deploytovoid
@deploytovoid + @Cloudflare is magic
In 5 minutes, I got a D1-backed real-time todo list deployed to production, without leaving the terminal.
Great job @voidzerodev
And it is a wrap! 🎬️

Ever wondered how a hashed filename ends up in your built JS, especially when the hash can't be known until the file is written?
@sapphi_red (@vite_js core team) starts from exactly that, and ends on what changed in 8.3.
Only at @ViteConf which starts in just 1 hour 🎉

You can't stop maintainers getting phished. But what you can is stopping bad release reaching your lockfile, today!
Set a minimum publish age, approve install scripts per version, let pnpm reject trust downgrades.

v2 of @QwikDev spent two years in beta: new runtime, optimizer rewritten based on Oxc, build on Vite 8 and Rolldown.

One config file covers dev, build, test, lint, format and monorepo caching, for libraries and CLI tools as well as apps.
A lot of decent languages have it - so why not JS too?
