From pledges to everyday practice 🌱 The EIACP Programme Centre, in collaboration with the Wildlife Institute of India, organised a series of activities during 2–6 November to mark BRICS Sustainable Lifestyle Week 2026, translating Mission LiFE into collective action. 🌳 2 November | A Mission LiFE pledge and plantation drive under “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” were conducted in collaboration with ZSI-Dehradun and Graphic Era University. Both activities witnessed the active participation of 45 people, reinforcing the connection between individual responsibility and environmental conservation. 🌾 4 November | Under the Adopt Sustainable Food Systems theme, millet-based dishes were included in the menus at two guest houses and the hostel mess. An energy conservation drive also encouraged switching off non-essential lights in the Institute’s office and faculty residential sections. 💧 5 November | Water-use points were inspected for leaks and wastage to identify opportunities for water conservation. An e-waste collection drive encouraged responsible disposal and greater awareness of electronic waste management. ♻️ 6 November | A campus cleanliness drive brought together approximately 70 participants for waste collection and segregation, promoting shared responsibility for a cleaner campus and responsible waste management. Together, these activities demonstrated how practical choices in food, energy, water and waste management can bring sustainable lifestyles into everyday institutional life. @moefcc @wii_india @GobindsagarBha1 @EIACPIndia @wii_eiacp @CRamesh_WII @amarjeet_kaur10 @RuchiBadola2 @SACONCoimbatore #MissionLiFE #BRICS #SustainableLifestyles #EkPedMaaKeNaam #CleanCampus
