This kind of "Scute Swarm"-style design is getting more common. Commander players, I'm curious, is this a fun card to play/play against in your experience?

I didn't expect Star Trek to be a turning point for red in Commander, but here we are! These cards are exciting, powerful, and feel very red!

If you were going to design a set of Commander Anthology to come out next year, what would you put in it? Mine would be: Omo Kotori Valgavoth Breena

Teferi’s Protection, Fierce Guardianship, Toxic Deluge: Without Commander precons we wouldn’t have a ton of the format’s foremost staples. This episode, we delved through ALL 150+ PRECONS to find you the very best new card from each one. Check it out: youtu.be/_psv_eV3JIE?si=vZKf…

Yesterday, in a Commander game, I watched a deck steal my Grandma, load her into a cannon and shoot her at another Grandma. Magic is good.

"I have a deck you can borrow." *Its mana base*

There are now 22 lands that ask you to choose a color when they enter. This means we are getting closer to building a deck with the ✨perfect✨ mana base.

My favorite Commanders give you a hoop to jump through or an extra problem to solve. I've been working on a Grandmother Goby list for a little while and it has been a tough nut to crack, but I'm getting pretty close. Let me know what you think! archidekt.com/decks/24980512…

Played this updated Grandmother Goby list for the first time today and attacked with 18 23/23 Merfolk tokens, so a very successful first game! It's pretty inconsistent in goldfishing, so looking forward to getting another game in with it.

To this day, I think this is the most helpful podcast episode I've ever worked on. @alsonamedjosh and I go through the language nuances of a Magic card and what they mean for its mechanics. It was a huge level up moment for me in my Magic understanding. youtu.be/7eBGjtysGcY?si=cp6q…

If you like this one, you should watch this too! We talk about the combat phase and its steps; keywords and the combination thereof; and confusing combat mechanics like goad and banding. youtu.be/36mEaTK9Fu4?si=_d7j…

The Zeta Set is taking a mulligan! If you want another shot at picking up these packs, Wizards is giving it to you. I'm glad they are getting more of these cards out in the world. They are so cool looking. magic.wizards.com/en/news/an…
