Midterms are Tuesday. A lot of people are asking what happens to stocks if control of Congress flips. I went through the history. The market is a lot less dramatic about it than the headlines are.

What about tomorrow morning, or next week? The studies I found don't give a clean answer for windows that short. @BlackRock did find that stocks have tended to start rallying about a month before #ElectionDay Once the outcome gets clearer. A strong year-after number can't tell us how anyone felt the next day.

What the history shows: a change in Congress can bring uncertainty, but it hasn’t automatically meant a falling market. Interest rates, inflation, and earnings were big parts of the story in each of these years. Have questions about what this means for you? Reach out and let’s talk. sungroupwp.com/contact

Midterms are coming, and everyone’s talking about the economy. But your financial future is bigger than one election. 🗳️ Try this instead: ✅Calculate your personal inflation rate. ✅Compare what you spent on groceries, insurance, utilities, and healthcare a year ago with today. Your numbers matter more than the headlines. #PersonalFinance #Midterms2026

As we approach the #Midterms2026 elections, I've been noticing something. Beyond the candidates and campaign headlines, Americans are asking some very personal questions. Will life become more affordable? Can my kids buy a home? Will I have enough to retire? Let's talk about it. 👇 sungroupwp.com/post/2026-mid…

As a financial advisor and mom of three, I think about these questions personally, too. - How do we help aging parents? - How do we give our children a strong start? - And still prepare for our own retirement? These concerns don't belong to one political party. They're part of everyday family life.

Elections come and go. Policies change. Markets fluctuate. But the people we're planning for remain at the heart of it all. So as you consider the questions being debated this election season, here's one more worth asking: Does my financial plan still reflect the life I want to build? Work with us: sungroupwp.com/contact
