Chris Gallant

Let me introduce myself: My name is Chris Gallant, and I'm running for Congress to represent NY-01. I'm a veteran, a volunteer firefighter, and a union rep ready to make a real difference for Long Island. Learn more about my campaign here: gallantny.com/

NY-01 is ready for real leadership that shows up and listens. We’ve hosted 9 in person town halls throughout the district with hundreds of attendees. Part of my mission plan is hosting regular town halls giving real and open conversations between residents and their representative. This is how democracy works best— showing up, listening and connecting directly with people. #longisland #suffolkcountyny #newyork #congress #election

Only 5 days left until Election Day!! We are closer than ever to flipping this seat, and wherever you are you can help contribute to our efforts & represent Gallant in style 😎. Get some Gallant merch today through the link in bio 🔗. #merch #vote #suffolkcountyny #election #longislandny

Today, on National First Responders Day, we honor the firefighters, EMTs, police officers, and dispatchers who keep our communities safe. When the alarm goes off, they don’t ask whose house it is. They run toward the smoke. As a firefighter here on Long Island, I know what it means to answer that call, whether it’s a house fire or a neighbor who needs a hand. In Congress, I’ll fight to make sure every first responder has what they need, from mental health support to the equipment and funding to do the job safely. They have our backs. It’s time Washington had theirs. #congress #election #newyork #longislandny #firefighter

Nick LaLota threatened to withhold federal funding unless local communities get in line with his agenda. Let’s be clear. Those are Long Island taxpayer dollars. They belong to our communities, not to one politician. When funding is held back, it puts infrastructure projects and public safety improvements at risk. As a firefighter, I’ve never asked someone their political party before helping them. You serve everyone. That’s what leadership is. When I’m in Congress, I’ll fight to bring your federal tax dollars back home to Long Island, where they belong. It’s time for REAL representation. Early vote this week or on Election Day, November 3rd. #ny01 #congress #politics #suffolkcountyny #longisland

There are certain people who touch your life in a powerful way, and my 10th grade high school teacher was one of them. We always kept in touch through the years and she’s witnessed me through the different phases of my life. I am grateful for everyone’s support— let’s keep the momentum going! #congress #newyork #longisland #suffolkcountyny #ElectionDay
