Meet Bean. This adorable kitten came to us in rough shape - limping on the side of a rural road but thanks to Albertans like you, he received the care he desperately needed. Now Bean is showered with love every day by his new family! #BeansStory - albertaspca.org/ways-to-help…

March is #Tick Awareness Month. Ticks are active when it’s warmer than 4 degrees and are more common than you may realize. Pets can pick up a tick while walking through heavily treed walking trails, but they can also be found in tall grass. Learn more buff.ly/1nhnKB0

Thank you for the sweet support! On #NationalCupcakeDay, @DeltonVet sold pupcakes and cupcakes with all proceeds donated to our organization. We appreciate our partners in #animalwelfare.

Thank you @HomesAlivePets for the generous donation of beef liver treats for the dogs in our care. Holster and the others were happy to sit nicely in exchange for a delicious snack!

Almost every one of the 800+ animals that came into our care last year needed to be spayed or neutered. On #WorldSpayDay, we encourage Albertans to ensure their pet receives this important procedure and reduce the number of unwanted litters - #WinWin.

We are grateful! Thank you @PurinaCanada for the donation this week of 8 pallets of dog and cat food. Partners like @Purina are integral to the work we do in the #animalwelfare community.

We’re always sharpening our skills! #AlbertaSPCA Peace Officers recently took part in some hands-on livestock training. About half of our #animalwelfare and distress calls involve farm animals.

Thank you Ellerslie Pet Hospital and clients! Their Christmas pet photo fundraiser captured many memories and raised $1,200 for our organization. #grateful
