What the last 2 years looked like: > Started in my kitchen making small batches on nights and weekends. > Ran Kno full-time while testing recipes every night > Found a co-manufacturer to partner with on production Two years of nights and weekends to get here And this experience has been humbling AF. I've spent 10 years advising DTC brands. Now I finally get to walk the talk. I'm using Kno to track everything. Customer attribution, persona building, creative angles. And I'm building this completely in public. Real lessons, what works and what doesn't. Kno is still my top priority and we've got some exciting releases coming soon. I've only been posting big wins here lately. But that's not the reality of running a business. ⠀ The reality is that every day is a rollercoaster. And a lot of days are 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱. ⠀ > Having to let go of people > Inventory issues > Getting "no's" from investors and retailers > Not getting 8 hours of sleep because I have a big Boostcous idea keeping me up ⠀ The list goes on... ⠀ 𝗠𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻. ⠀ So here are a few non-negotiable agreements I've made with myself: ⠀ > Work out 2 days a week > Take one day a week completely offline (usually Saturday) > Listen to at least 1 non-business podcast a week > Spend 3 days doing some activity outside (mountain biking, skiing, tennis, etc.) ⠀ Don't get me wrong, building Boostcous is the best thing I've ever done. It's given me purpose and drive like I've never had before. ⠀ But it's also important to share the dark side of entrepreneurship. ⠀ Anyone else in the same boat?
