DECOY DAN: The DOJ and FBI are investigating whether Democratic operatives recruited a man named Daniel J. Sullivan — a retired school teacher with no party affiliation — to appear on the Alaska Senate ballot and siphon votes from Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan.
More than 30 subpoenas were issued in a 24-hour span as part of the criminal probe, which alleges the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and senior aides tied to Democratic candidate Mary Peltola's campaign worked to recruit candidates who could pull votes from the incumbent. A former Federal Election Commission commissioner says the Biden-era prosecution of Donald Trump by Jack Smith set the legal precedent for exactly this kind of case — conspiracy to defraud voters of fair and honest elections.
Alaska U.S. Attorney Michael Heyman said the investigation is being taken "extremely seriously" but stopped short of confirming what criminal charges are being pursued.

Violetta Mailyan even billed for thousands of injections, representing over $19 million, purportedly provided on days when her clinic was closed.
She was even on vacation when she billed for her services.
