start putting together your end-of-year newsletter. fit with: -show performances. -links to all your releases. -interviews you did. -GUEST APPEARANCES -production placements etc.

some of the press releases i get from other labels and "marketing firms" are horrifically bad. no intro, no info, just a list of artists and a link. we gotta do better.

over 14% of all television viewing in July 2026 was done on YouTube. compared to 7% on Netflix. as an independent artist. stop sleeping on YouTube. it is for MORE than music videos.

a lot of people only see and care about results, rarely the sacrifices taken simply to get to this point.

idk man i wish my acumen was enough to just get me paid. because i have the results to prove it. but just like any business you have to think about marketing, business and stuff outside whatcha create. something artists HATE to hear despite everyone else dealing with the same.
