Ranking Member @BobbyScott, @RepDeSaulnier, and @RepSummerLee are demanding answers from the Trump Administration for failing to hold employers accountable for not reporting their efforts to bust unions.

Too often, when workers exercise their right to organize a union, corporations and bosses hire outside consultants to wage anti-union campaigns.
I am fighting to stop that.
Donald Trump’s new rule is supposed to expose hidden fees charged by prescription drug middlemen, but it leaves health insurance companies exempt. I pushed for stronger protections. We need real transparency and accountability to help lower your health care costs.

Dolores Huerta dedicated her life to fighting for civil rights, workers’ rights, and dignity for farm workers at @UFWUpdates.
May we honor her life by carrying forward the work she began: ¡Sí, se puede! nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/do…

Republicans’ cuts to SNAP are leaving children more likely to go hungry at lunch so that millionaires, billionaires, and corporations can enjoy bigger tax breaks.

Trump keeps lying about how well the economy is doing. Most of last year's job gains have been revised away, but we didn't need a graph to know that.
Families feel it every day in paychecks that don't stretch and prices that keep climbing.
Americans are paying more for just about everything. Health care, gas, groceries, housing. And what did Republicans prioritize? Tax cuts for the wealthy.
We’re not giving up until health care is affordable and accessible for everyone.
Thank you to @ProtectOurCare for standing with us in the fight to lower health care costs for American families.

Honored to receive the Virginia Maritime Association’s Port Champion Award.
Stronger ports mean good-paying jobs and a stronger Virginia economy. I’m proud to have helped secure investments that keep our maritime industry competitive, alongside our congressional delegation and maritime partners.
Grateful for this recognition and for the partnerships that keep Virginia moving forward.
The FBI contacted my office earlier today to report that it had intercepted mail containing a suspicious substance addressed to my district office, like others reported around the country. I am grateful to law enforcement for their efforts to keep my staff safe. Threats and attempts at intimidation are unacceptable and must not be tolerated.
The tragedy in Oregon is the 52nd school shooting in the U.S. in 2026. We do not have to live like this, and we should never accept it as normal.
I have repeatedly called on Republicans to hold hearings on school shootings. When I’m chair, the Committee on Education and Labor will finally act to protect students.
Congress. Can. Take. Action.
At a recent hearing on securing our elections, I asked whether Congress can ban partisan gerrymandering used to pass racially discriminatory maps. The answer is simple. Yes, we can.
We’ll keep fighting to get it done.
$2 million delivered to expand broadband on the Virginia Peninsula.
Reliable internet helps local businesses compete and grow, students do their schoolwork, and families stay connected. This funding will strengthen the fiber network connecting Newport News and Hampton to the rest of the region, so more homes and businesses get service they can count on.
That's an investment in the people and businesses here today, and in our future.
Working families cannot afford Donald Trump’s policies.
Inflation rose faster than expected last month, with more everyday costs climbing cnn.it/4yQOyev
This raid follows a disturbing pattern of abusing the criminal justice system to seek retribution against political opponents. President Trump has repeatedly targeted Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with inflammatory rhetoric that has contributed to threats of violence against her. We cannot ignore the troubling timing of this raid, just weeks before an election in which Congresswoman Omar is on the ballot.
House Democratic leaders have condemned the search of Rep. Ilhan Omar's home as an "abuse of power" by the Trump administration. Follow the latest updates: apnews.com/live/trump-greece…

The public deserves to know if HHS lied in active litigation.
HHS's failure to cooperate with requests for information about DOGE's access to sensitive information is alarming.
@BobbyScott is demanding HHS's internal watchdog investigate the matter now.

More than 500 young people mentored, 300 scholarships awarded, and 100 college graduates.
That’s the record of 100 Black Men of the Virginia Peninsula.
Glad to join them for breakfast in Newport News and celebrate the work they’re doing to open doors for young people across our community.
Thanks for all that you do.
As Trump and congressional Republicans cut Medicaid, I'm fighting to strengthen the care our seniors and people with disabilities depend on.
Alongside @Rep_Grijalva & @RepSusieLee, I'm leading the effort to advance the Direct CARE Opportunity Act, expanding training and career opportunities to address the direct care worker shortage.
Every American deserves to live with dignity. That means investing in the workers who make it possible.
