Kiribati: the country that broke the map 🌍✨
This tiny island nation is massive: not in land, but in spread.
Kiribati is made up of 33 coral atolls scattered across 3.5 million km² of ocean, bigger than India! 😮🌊
Oh, and get this: Kiribati is the only country that sits in all four hemispheres — north, south, east and west! 🧭
However, to keep them all on the same time it uses GMT +14, making it the first country in the world to ring-in the New Year.

One of the biggest downgrades in British History.
Beeching's first report identified 2,363 stations and 5,000 miles (8,000 km) of railway line for closure, amounting to 55% of stations, 30% of route miles!
Ultimately, the UK Department for Transport estimates that around 5,000 miles of railway and almost 2,500 stations closed following the report.
However, these figures include some closures not originally proposed by Beeching, while some of his recommended closures never happened.
What do you think about them?

Nixon's Electoral History Is Sort Of Crazy
He Famous Lost the 1960 Presidential Election (Although only lost the popular vote by 112,827)
He then went on to lose the 1962 California Gubernatorial Election by 296,758 votes
He then wins the 1968 Republican Party presidential primaries, but gets 17,189 votes than future president Ronald Reagan
He then wins the 1968 Presidential Election getting 511,944 more votes than Humphrey
And then 1972 happens and he wins the second most electoral college votes in history up until that time and wins the popular vote by almost 18 million people, which is still the highest margin on record.
And then on August 9th, 1974 he resigns the Presidency.
