Singapore is not currently planning to regulate artificial intelligence (AI), according to Lee Wan Sie, the director for trusted AI and data at Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority.
Despite global calls for regulation due to potential risks of AI, Singapore is taking a more measured approach, choosing to learn how AI is being used before deciding on regulatory actions. Singapore is also inviting companies to collaborate in AI Verify, the world's first AI testing toolkit which allows users to perform technical tests on their AI models.
IBM and Singapore Airlines have already started pilot testing in this program. The AI Verify Foundation has seen involvement from tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and IBM.

But you can protect yourself by learning how to use AI.
Here is how you can create a website with ChatGPT (even if you don't know how to code):
Is an Accountant broken if they use a calculator, or an Artist broken if they use a graphics tablet? IMHO the issue is not with AI removing creativity, but with individuals if they fail to use it as an augmentation to their creative tool kit.
With all the talk around Ai, there's one fundamental human skill you absolutely must have in this space.
The ability to learn.
And keep learning quickly.
No matter how good Ai gets, if we can't learn and adapt quickly enough, there's going to be a lot of people left behind. ..
The more I hear people pile on Twitter, the more tempted I am to be back on here. Is it just that I'm hearing the name all the time, or perhaps just being contrarian?
