Adding a new editor to your captioning team should take one step, not five. Team Manager in Closed Caption Creator Pro just got an update. You now add and edit users in one panel, right beside your member list.
Stuck on a setting, or staring at a list of QC errors? Ask the new AI Assistant in Closed Caption Creator. Open it from the toolbar or press Ctrl+L. In Ask mode, it answers how-to questions from the user guide and your open project, and it shows its sources.
In Agent mode, it makes the fix for you. It can clean up text, adjust timing, resolve QC issues, and translate into a new Event Group. Each prompt is one undo step, and it asks before large changes. Agent mode is on Pro and Enterprise plans.
Your delivery spec asks for 708 captions, and your file is SCC. That will not pass. SCC carries EIA-608 data only, as byte pairs in a 32 by 15 grid. It holds no CEA-708 data. For 708 requirements, use MCC, an embedded track, or a TTML-family format.
In Closed Caption Creator, the File Export dialog lists SCC and MCC under Subtitle File, and Embed Captions adds a 608/708 track to your video. Check the spec before you export, not after the file is rejected. Read the SCC guide at closedcaptioncreator.com/blo….
One EBU-STL text block holds 112 bytes of text. That is a hard ceiling, and accented letters use two of those bytes. The format stores accents as floating characters, so the accent byte comes first and the letter second. An A with an umlaut is C8h 41h.

Fixing a caption error after delivery costs far more than catching it before. Closed Caption Converter includes an Automatic QC filter that flags problems before broadcast.
Content QC and Technical QC switch on separately, and custom style guides let you reuse the same limits on every file. Try it free for 7 days at closedcaptionconverter.com.
A caption that covers a lower third or burned-in text breaks caption quality rules. Our new guide explains where a caption should sit and what survives export. Default to bottom center, inside the safe area.
Convert once from the most expressive format and keep that file as your master. Read the full guide from Closed Caption Creator at closedcaptioncreator.com/blo….
