SLG celebrates our city's Social Aid & Pleasure Clubs / Second Line culture. In NOLA, Second Line parades are held throughout the city, & everyone is invited to dance their troubles away. The song is about falling in love with both the music & culture, & the woman of your dreams.

If Mardi Gras Indian Music pays homage to the ancestors of the Black Masking Indians of New Orleans, DJ shub pays homage to the music and culture of the First Nation Pow Wow groups on unceded land in Canada.

DJ Shub is on the cutting edge of elevating First Nation Dance Music. It seemed like a dream come true when he expressed interest in remixing one of our songs. We are humbled to connect New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian Music with that great spirit and tradition.
