Truly awful news this weekend about Coach Dawson; an elite person, outstanding coach, and former Gator. Devastating loss for the Cornell HS community; @AlleghenyFB will continue praying for all those grieving for such an influential & impactful life. RIP.

Remembering Coach Dawson: An emotional candlelight vigil was held in Coraopolis to honor the life of head Cornell High School football coach Ed Dawson, who collapsed during Friday's game & later died. "He had a way of being tough & loving at the very same time." @KDKA story ⬇️

Stood at the edge of the field 8 years ago with QB Logan Lee after securing a winning season for @AlleghenyFB… Incredibly proud to bring the first one back to Meadville since that 2018 season with Coach Logan Lee now on staff. Still lots more to play for! 1-0. #GoGators 🐊
