The NFL Draft is a special time. It’s a season of dreams, sacrifice, pressure, and life changing moments.
I’m incredibly thankful that my partner Deric Jackson @djackson_legacy and I had the opportunity to play a part in helping these young men achieve their NFL dreams.
For me, it hits differently because I once had that same dream. I was blessed to win a National Championship at University of Alabama, but I never heard my name called and never got the opportunity to play in the NFL.
Now, years later, God gave me a different lane. A greater purpose. To help young men across the country hear their names called, navigate the process, educate their families, and prepare for what it truly takes not only to get drafted, but to make a 53 man roster and build a lasting career.
This process is not easy. It’s stressful. It’s late flights, early mornings, 14 to 16 hour days, constant calls, strategy, negotiation, and doing everything possible to create opportunities for our clients. But I would not trade a single second of it.
I’m grateful to the parents who trusted us. Grateful to our staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Grateful to our creative team, our legal team, and everyone internally who helps make sure we stay prepared, professional, and ready when the moment comes.
Most importantly, it has been a blessing to share our clients’ stories, mindsets, character, and why they are special with NFL teams. Helping decision makers understand not just the athlete, but the man behind the helmet.
At Legacy Sports Advisors, it has always been about family, trust, and transparency.
Seeing our clients smile, seeing families celebrate, seeing dreams become reality that is what it is all about.
Proud of all our guys. This is only the beginning.

If FSU decides to bring in a new GM, Erinn Joe would be a name that I'd be interested in..
Background & Career History
• University of Texas (2025): Served as Director of Scouting, helping the Longhorns secure a top-10 recruiting class.
• Georgia Tech (2023–2024 / earlier roles 2018–2021): Served as General Manager and in various personnel/graduate assistant roles.
• University of Alabama (2022): Served as Assistant Director of Player Personnel for the nation's top-ranked incoming class.
He's currently serving as the GM for the University of North Texas
This may be unpopular, but I believe he can add great value 💯

Kevin Plank took Under Armour's last $2,000 to Atlantic City to make payroll. He lost it all.
He already owed around $40,000 across 5 credit cards.
Payroll was short. He needed to turn $2,000 into $4,500, so he got in his car and drove to the casino.
He got up to about $4,000.
Then lost everything.
On the way home, he couldn't even pay the toll at the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Traffic stopped while someone came out to write down his details.
He remembers crying in his car, telling himself he'd blown it and chosen the wrong business.
Then he checked his P.O. box.
Inside was a $7,800 check from Georgia Tech.
His reaction: "What was I talking about? Back in business. Let's go get this thing."

Alex Rodriguez says that after he retired, his income fell about 90%, from $30,000,000 a year to $3,000,000. In 2018, he was still paying his ex-wife roughly $155,000 a month in spousal and child support, and he went to court to cut it.
In the video below, he talks about what that kind of money did to him long before the bills came due.
He signed a $252,000,000 contract at 25, the richest deal in sports at the time. He says success that early shrinks your self-awareness and grows your ego, and he didn’t have the tools to handle it.
He and Cynthia Scurtis divorced in 2008. A decade later, he argued she now had a new fiancé, 3 homes and millions in the bank. He reportedly offered $20,000 a month for their 2 daughters. She reportedly wanted $50,000.
Then her brother came after him too. Constantine Scurtis, his former real estate partner, sued him for $50,000,000, claiming Rodriguez cut him out of the business they built together. Rodriguez countersued, saying Scurtis took $1,400,000 from the partnership without permission.
Rodriguez says he has now been in therapy for more than 10 years, and that it saved his life.
When a fortune comes this early, is the biggest risk spending it, or the people who expect a share of it later?

NEW: Oregon QB coach Koa Ka’ai evaluates recruits with a simple question: “Chocolate or vanilla ice cream?”
Any hesitation… and coach doesn’t want him.
“If you pause on ice cream,” Ka’ai says, “what are you going to do on 3rd down in front of 110,000 fans?” 😳
