What actually is Wackyville? Wackyville started with artist/co-founder @uyo66_ and his creative buddy @maccurated spending months discussing, sketching and ideating 1/1 original characters while bouncing around strange and wacky ideas as to what those characters would be doing if they lived in their own world. There was no roadmap or plan to even launch a collection at the start, it was literally just seeing what happened when two wackos joined forces in storytelling. Over time, those ideas grew into something much bigger. Some sort of dream for both of them where they truly believed people would love and resonate with the art and story. They called it Wackyville. A world where every 1/1 character has a name and a story, and each new creation adds to the ever expanding lore. It began with a hand drawn 111 supply collection of original 1/1 artworks onchain, but the vision goes well beyond that. Uyo has literally not stopped drawing for 7 months. 7 days a week he pours his heart into this wacky idea! Silently creating something even more wackier than ever imagined. For now, they’re quietly building behind the scenes. There’s plenty more to come. And Mac is always watching 👁️
