It's really sad that it took high gas and food prices for MAGA voters to finally turn on Donald Trump. They didn't care about his 15 year relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. They didn't care that he profited billions on crypto schemes, insider trading, and war profiteering.

You deserve a representative who won’t go along to get along, and who actually stands up to make your life better. Because working hard ought to get you somewhere and give you a shot at achieving the American Dream. That’s why I’m running. Read my op-ed: ottawanewsnetwork.org/sean-m…

I love my Jewish and Muslim neighbors, and I understand the pain and fear they feel, but for me, the most important issue in this election is restoring the Senate as a check on a dangerously corrupt president. That’s why I am supporting Abdul El-Sayed.

Interesting how it's always "vote according to Biblical values!" until it comes to the verses about welcoming immigrants, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords or loving our neighbors.

1 Day till Election Day! From day one, this campaign has been about you. Your stories, your hopes for the future, and your belief that Southwest Michigan deserves a new way forward. I’m so grateful for the support and I’ll never stop fighting for the communities we call home.

How the hell did this Administration allow a 28-year-old DOGE operative with zero government experience to take over USAID, fire thousands of federal employees, and shut down lifesaving aid programs around the world?   Not to mention that HR had zero record of him working there, he never completed his background paperwork to legally start working for the agency, and he didn’t even have an ID badge, because, officially, he didn’t exist as an employee.   And yet, all on his own, this man was given the go ahead to lock staff out of their own systems and use your taxpayer dollars to gut lifesaving programs with zero transparency.   The Trump Administration owes the American people and Congress answers. Who signed off on this? Why on earth was he given this kind of power?   This wasn’t an accident. Someone handed this man unchecked power, someone knew he wasn’t legally authorized to use it, and someone decided that there was nothing wrong with that.   Well, everything is wrong with that. Congress needs answers about this, and that is NOT optional. wired.com/story/a-28-year-ol…

"Trickle Down" wasn't meant to help you. It's literally a metaphor for the rich pissing on you... and that's literally what they did while stealing your money.

After watching President Obama's crisp, clear, and clever speeches this past week, it is more obvious than ever that going from Obama to trump was like going from a Lamborghini to a skateboard with only one wheel. What a downgrade.

This admin is packed with unflinching, flawlessly-deceptive sociopaths. The way they incessantly project themselves onto others without even a hint of shame is truly repugnant.
Stephen Miller: "To lie so casually, so repeatedly, so comfortably -- it's genuinely sociopathic"

“They listened to people back home.” The last time @RepHuizenga held a face-to-face town hall with his 775,000+ constituents was 2018. Refused to debate his opponents. Locks the doors at his offices. Doesn’t answer mail. Will cash @AFPMichigan checks however 💰💰. Doesn’t listen.

This has always been a campaign open to anyone, regardless of political identity, who feels frustrated by the way our corrupt system works for the rich but not working families. I'm fighting to get money out of politics and lower costs. Read more here: ottawanewsnetwork.org/opinio…

We shouldn't have to rely on midterms to save the country. Republican lawmakers should have had the patriotism and basic common sense to stop a compromised asset from destroying America from within a long time ago.

5 Days till Election Day! Throughout this race, people of all ages have shared fears of Social Security and Medicare ending. We all deserve to retire with dignity and we must ensure a strong social safety net at every stage of life.

Public service means showing up, and listening. I’ve held 10 town halls during this campaign and heard from hundreds of you because your voices matter. Unlike my opponent, I’ll always show up and listen to Southwest Michigan.

Please read this piece. The cruelty of mass deportation extends to the unborn.
Pro-lifers who voted for Trump: “The detainment of pregnant immigrants has led to delayed emergency treatment, miscarriages, and stillbirths.” But the number of pregnant detainees has significantly increased since President Trump took office in 2025. substack.com/home/post/p-222…

It doesn’t take a PhD in biblical hermeneutics to understand that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. But it takes some biblical gymnastics to argue that Christian ends excuse the absence of fruit.

Notice how it's somehow the government's job to legislate a few Bible verses on human sexuality over our entire country, but it's suddenly "not the government's job" when it comes to the +2,500 Bible verses calling for a generous use of wealth that prioritizes the poor.
