FPL GW9 coming soon...
Unsure of any extra transfers worth taking a -4 for this week, already moved from Gonzalo 👉 Jackson last weekend.
Anything here worth a -4 for at all?

Yes I'd love a cup run - but right now it just isn't a priority.
The performance - from what I've read was poor, particularly at the back.
Bizot levels dropped? A lot of these haven't played together either.
We move on, looking forward to Saturday.

Solid first half, very even contest.
Jackson having the better of Guehi, Alysson worrying Gvardiol and McGinn finding pockets in midfield.
Ndiaye worries me against Maatsen, imagine Foden on at HT. #avfc
Locked in for GW8 ✅

Transfers: Saka ➡️ Rudoni
Tough choice this week but going with the 3-5-2 and backing the midfield.
A lot of the upside this week feels tied to Coventry v Fulham, so I’m hoping for goals there and that the slightly more aggressive setup pays off.
Captaincy still feels awkward too, but Haaland gets it again.

It'll be an own goal but his performance has deserved that on his first home start for us.
Alysson 🇧🇷
Better late than never, I guess.
Hopefully we start to see that trickle down into energy prices over the winter months.
Over to you, @OctopusEnergy...
Just had a quick look at the number of tickets left for the game against Viking later, safe to say a good number of seats left in most of these blocks! #AVFC
Based on the update from Emery today, my guess at a team for Viking #AVFC
Suzuki
Cash THB Torres Mings
Barkley Kamara
McGinn Buendia Mbaye
Abraham
A small rest wouldn't hurt Jackson ahead of Saturday against Man City.
Thoroughly deserved once he signs.
Not always been great, but certainly since that long-term injury he's kicked on, cemented his status at Villa and that goal in Istanbul will live long in the memory.
Emi Buendia 🇦🇷💛
Emiliano Buendia set to sign a new contract at #AVFC after acceleration in recent talks. Victor Lindelof and George Hemmings are progressing in discussions to extend their respective deals. Lindelof a key leader for Emery & Hemmings' extension would reflect improved standing in the senior group. Story @TheAthleticFC

40 - Aston Villa's fifth goal vs. Fenerbahçe came at the end of a 40-pass move, where all 11 players were involved.
It's the longest passing sequence leading to a goal in major European competition this season, as well as the only one to involve all 11 players.
Style.
