Transit Talk Tuesday: DART had a fantastic time visiting Harlan Elementary School in Wilmington yesterday! 🚌💙💚 Students joined DTC's CEO, Lilia Montoya, and DARTLEY for a buddy walk focused on pedestrian safety, enjoyed a special reading of Last Stop on Market Street in both English and Spanish, and shared plenty of smiles and photos with everyone's favorite transit mascot! 📚🚶‍♀️ A big thank you to Harlan Elementary School for the warm welcome and for making this visit such a memorable experience! #DART #CommunityImpact #PedestrianSafety

This week, we are proud to recognize Christyn Small for her exceptional leadership. Throughout her time in Finance, Christyn’s roles under Fixed Assets, Budget, and now Contracts, has helped build strong relationships across DTC through her knowledge and willingness to support others. Despite managing a department facing significant staffing shortages, she continues to ensure processes and procedures run smoothly and deadlines are met. Her commitment to leading by example and helping her team overcome challenges has earned her the respect of those around her. Christyn’s dedication to her team and the organization truly embodies the Heart of DART.
