ADIPEC 2026 brought energy operators and technology providers into the same conversation.
The next step is working on implementation, making new solutions compatible with existing infrastructure.
ADIPEC 2026 reaches its final day in Abu Dhabi: 2,260 exhibitors and over 1,800 speakers.
I believe the impact lies in the discussions about energy security and infrastructure, and in what companies do after the event.

Energy infrastructure requires long-term decisions.
Companies must consider growing demand while understanding what can realistically be built and operated.
The knowledge exchanged during these four days will matter if it helps the industry make better investment decisions and improve real energy operations.

AI and robotics can improve safety in energy operations by reducing the need for people to enter hazardous areas during inspections, while helping maintenance teams identify problems earlier.
AI and robotics are attracting attention at ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi.
I am interested in how they could support the people who run energy systems every day. That is where technological progress needs to prove its value.

On an exhibition floor, a technology may look ready for use, but in an operating energy facility, the conditions are different.
AI needs reliable data from existing systems so that its outputs can be checked and acted on.
Robots need to function safely outside the controlled setting of a demonstration.
These are the practical challenges I see behind the ADIPEC 2026 theme: Energy. Intelligence. Impact.

An expanded exhibition does more than welcome more visitors. It allows companies to show what they are building and gives potential customers more solutions to examine in person.
For me, that is what makes a major industry event useful: a direct conversation can reveal whether a technology fits a real business need.
Bigger in scale, bolder in ambition, greater in impact.
A bigger, bolder, better ADIPEC experience.

Scaling AI-driven efficiency in energy depends on reliable operational data and integration with existing industrial systems, two challenges highlighted by the new ADIPEC report.
The new ADIPEC Global Energy Report 2026 caught my attention: 22% of oil and gas insiders name AI-driven efficiency as a top commercial opportunity today, versus 27% in ten years.
A signal of changing business priorities.

Another finding adds context: 81% of energy insiders expect AI-driven electricity demand to exceed current forecasts.
This creates a closer relationship between the energy and technology industries.
Energy companies need to understand how computing demand will evolve, and technology companies must understand the capacity and operating requirements of energy systems.
I find this mutual dependency particularly interesting because investment decisions in one industry will increasingly affect the other.
ADIPEC 2026, taking place from 2-5 November in Abu Dhabi, offers an opportunity to examine how these developments will shape the energy business.

Security tool sprawl has a hidden cost: the time IT spends juggling systems instead of helping people get up and running. Fewer moving parts can make a big difference.

Growth brings more users, devices, and locations.
It shouldn't bring more complexity.

Energy partnerships also need a shared approach to cybersecurity. When infrastructure and data connect across organizations, security must be part of the agreement from the beginning.
Global energy projects move forward when technical ideas find investment and people build partnerships to deliver them.
ADIPEC 2026 will bring the energy industry together in Abu Dhabi to make those connections possible.

Capital can be committed during a meeting, but delivery depends on the work that follows.
Technology companies and energy operators need to agree on what can be delivered under real conditions, while investors need confidence that those plans are feasible.
ADIPEC 2026 provides a global meeting point for these conversations, connecting the people who can turn opportunities into projects.
I would pay particular attention to partnerships that continue after the event, when commitments have to become results.

Energy stability requires coordinated action before volatility disrupts supply, with resilience built into infrastructure and operations.
For economies and industries, energy stability is not simply an abstract issue. No country or company can secure it on its own.
ADIPEC 2026 will bring global energy leaders together in Abu Dhabi from 2-5 November.

ADIPEC 2026 is expected to bring together 239,000+ attendees, 2,250+ exhibiting companies and 1,800+ speakers across 13 conference programmes.
Reliable energy supply allows industries to plan investments and economies to grow with greater confidence.
Bringing together those who produce energy and those who depend on it can help turn shared concerns into coordinated action.

A useful signal from the 2027 finalists: sustainability innovation is about combining technology with delivery models that can work in real communities, not technology in isolation.
10,233 submissions from 177 countries.
The number gets your attention. More interesting is what the 2027 finalists are already doing: tackling maternal health, food security, energy access, water scarcity and ecosystem restoration, delivering measurable impact.

And some of the examples are worth a closer look.
AI is being used to predict pregnancy complications months in advance.
Robotic crawlers can inspect and clean water and sewer pipes from the inside.
Heat-resilient corals are being cultivated with sensor networks and 3D reef mapping.
The finalists span six categories, including Global High Schools.
I also like one detail in the 2027 cycle: every finalist receives financial support, not only the eventual winners.
More capacity is not enough if the energy system cannot respond when demand shifts, so new and existing infrastructure must work together with greater flexibility.
Rising energy demand is half the equation.
The harder question is whether infrastructure and capacity can grow fast enough to deliver energy where and when economies need it.
ADIPEC 2026 puts this question on the table.

Adding supply without expanding the infrastructure that delivers and manages energy can create bottlenecks.
Grids, storage, logistics and digital infrastructure have to keep pace with demand. Investment and execution do too.
For me, this is the real infrastructure question at ADIPEC 2026: can industry, government, finance and technology align around delivery?
More energy matters. So does the system that gets it where demand is growing.

AI is changing energy work as much as energy technology, making skills development a business issue for companies that want digital transformation to deliver in practice.

One discussion today caught my attention: how AI is changing careers in energy and the skills people will need to work alongside increasingly digital systems.
For me, the human side deserves the same attention as the technology.
New tools can change how work is done, but people still need the knowledge and judgment to use them well. Reskilling is therefore part of the infrastructure behind technological progress.
The technology will keep moving.
Our ability to prepare people for it has to move with it.
Gastech 2026 is underway, with industry discussions focused on the infrastructure decisions needed to improve reliability and support growth.

The exhibition floor is already busy, but for me the interesting part begins with the questions behind all that activity.
How do we keep energy reliable as demand grows, and where can technology remove inefficiency?
Investment is another part of the equation: it has to become infrastructure that works in the real world.
Over the next few days, I will be following the conversations that connect technology with practical execution.
Energy resilience is also a logistics question: supply creates value when infrastructure can move it reliably across markets, a challenge Gastech 2026 is bringing into focus.
Energy has to move.
How well it moves across markets depends on maritime infrastructure and fleet capacity.
Gastech 2026 puts that operational question on the Strategic Leadership agenda.

What does it take to keep energy moving when routes and fuels are changing?
More than supply. Shipping capacity and maritime infrastructure determine whether energy can actually reach markets when conditions tighten.
Gastech puts this question on the Strategic Leadership agenda with “Advancing sustainable maritime infrastructure and fleet capacity.” Takeshi Hashimoto, Director & Chairman of the Board at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, is among the speakers, adding the perspective of a global shipping operator.
I see maritime resilience as the link between energy strategy and execution: supply on paper means little if transport capacity cannot adapt and deliver energy where it is needed.
From theory to commercial silicon.
Antonio Grasso’s latest article looks at Huawei Tau Scaling through architecture and system design, and at what this milestone may signal for the next phase of semiconductor development.
AI ambition without infrastructure remains ambition.
A perspective from Antonio Grasso with BCG at MWC.
Many people think of AI as the train.
In reality, AI is the railway.
The real shift is the infrastructure being built today: compute, energy, talent, and digital stack.
Countries that invest in this infrastructure will shape the future of AI.
