Folkroom is back, debuting a new night in Nottingham! We'll be at @peggysskylight on the third Sunday of each month.
We can't wait to bring Notts great music from across the folk spectrum, starting with @AliRobertsMusic and @donaldwglindsay.

'There is a Land is a wonderfully ambitious and well-executed debut.'
Read Folk Radio UK's fantastic review of Robin Elliott's forthcoming album here. Spoiler alert: we think it's very good, and so do they.

The matinee shows I run as @Folkroom are family-friendly for exactly this reason - a chance to introduce your family to live music! They're at @GreenNote. Next up is @IonaLaneMusic at the end of April.

The good folk at @FRUK let me have a bit of space to talk about always moving forward, creatively, and what folk music means to me. Do have a read, if you like that sort of thing!

According to Amazon, "Banish Air From Air" is the 16th hottest folk thing released this week. With a record like this you never know what people will think and I've no idea what that means, but I'll take it!

We are SO excited about @benwwalker's new album, Banish Air from Air, out now! And so is @FRUK, who calls it "a beautifully realised project, a broad-thinking, generous and calming set of songs from a gifted and confident artist." folkradio.co.uk/2023/02/ben-…

Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered, saved, liked, streamed and generally had some sort of good vibe around this record. It’s been a long few years, but finally it’s out there!
Listen and buy it (if you like it) here! ffm.to/banishairfromair
