Ein kleiner Lichtblick für die deutsche Wirtschaft: Das ifo-Geschäftsklima ist im Juli auf 86,6 Punkte gestiegen, nach 85,7 im Juni. Es ist bereits der dritte Anstieg in Folge.
Der Schub kam vor allem von den Erwartungen: Die Unternehmen blicken deutlich zuversichtlicher auf die kommenden Monate, und das trotz der angespannten Lage am Persischen Golf. Mit den laufenden Geschäften waren sie dagegen etwas weniger zufrieden.
ifo-Präsident Clemens Fuest verwies auf anziehende Nachfrage und nachlassenden Materialmangel in der Industrie. ING-Ökonom Carsten Brzeski mahnte dagegen zur Vorsicht: Normalerweise wären drei Anstiege in Folge ein Grund zu feiern, doch in einem derart volatilen geopolitischen Umfeld seien selbst Frühindikatoren wie das ifo-Klima schnell wieder veraltet.
Unterm Strich also: vorsichtiger Optimismus, aber mit einem Fragezeichen dahinter.
