On Thursday we relaunch Crypto.com's Onchain Wallet as Ult. Ult uses blockchain as its backend but does not feel like your typical crypto wallet. We spent the last few months rebuilding Onchain Wallet to get there. No mnemonic phrase to write down, no gas to manage, no networks to switch between, no multiple variants of the same asset to fumble through. Ult is the intersection of two trends. The first is that tokenization is the fastest and most efficient way to distribute markets around the world. Non-custodial rails put us in 100+ countries on day one, and new inventory is a simple integration. Legacy brokers carry a cost in every market they enter. We've collapsed it, and the difference goes into the product. The second is entertainment finance. More people in more countries are trading more often, and they expect a market to be open whenever they pick up their phone.
