Thousands of clinical trials are looking for patients.
Epic AI helps match trials with the right patients, giving them a new option for treatment.
Since this spring, more than 60 organizations have started using it to automatically check study criteria against what’s already in the chart. Study teams can quickly see who may be a fit and invite them right in MyChart.
.@ONC_HealthIT has recently eliminated AI transparency requirements for certified EHRs. Despite this decision, Epic will continue to provide our customers with the documentation that ONC no longer requires.
Epic is committed to meaningful AI transparency and health systems using Epic will retain access to all the tools we’ve created to help evaluate the fairness, validity, and other attributes of our software.
.@ONC_HealthIT should prioritize diagnostic image exchange on TEFCA using available industry standards, including engaging with health systems, imaging vendors, and the relevant medical societies to build consensus for the policies and procedures necessary to scale image exchange via TEFCA.

By the way… patients at non-Epic systems can ditch the disk too.
Epic ➡️ non-Epic Diagnostic Image Exchange is available.
It’s 2026, and millions of patients still carry CDs from appointment to appointment.
Diagnostic-quality images — like CTs, X-rays, and MRI — are stored outside of the EHR, and a limited use of open standards has traditionally held back sharing between health systems.
Care Everywhere uses open image-sharing standards, enabling clinicians to get the image they need to reach a diagnosis faster.
Now, it’s time for TEFCA to use the same standards so that health systems across the U.S can rapidly share diagnostic images.

In November 2026, Kit’s supported column set is growing by 3.5X, giving developers more data types to run bulk analytics.
The Clarity data model is now available for license.
Developers interested in bulk data exchange now have a new option, opening another path for working with population-level data alongside Kit and Bulk FHIR, which remain available. #OpenatEpic
Introducing Connectors: a new way for apps to communicate with Epic.
Developers can soon build Connectors that bring information from other apps into Epic, like pulling arrival time from an ambulance app so the ED can prepare without switching between apps.
Connectors will work with Emmie, Art (Epic AI for clinicians), and Penny (Epic AI for revenue cycle and operational teams). They will also work with custom AI that healthcare organizations create in Agent Factory.
Healthcare organizations will be able to find developer-created Connectors on Epic Showroom starting in March 2027. Before enabling a Connector, they’ll be able to review what it can do, what information it can read, and what it can change.
