Last Week, @SecKennedy joined @HRSAgov Administrator Tom Engels at EveryStep in Des Moines, Iowa, to meet with mothers, families, and community health leaders working to improve maternal and infant health. During the visit, Secretary Kennedy highlighted three major HHS actions:
✅ New infant formula safety testing results under Operation Stork Speed
✅ Proposed updates to infant formula nutrition standards for the first time in nearly 30 years
✅ $500 million in funding to strengthen maternal and early childhood home visiting programs.
From ensuring safer infant formula to supporting new mothers, HHS is working to give every child a healthier start in life.
Under the leadership of @POTUS and @SecKennedy, HHS is winning for the American people. 🇺🇸
✅ 42 states have implemented MAHA legislation
✅ 23 states have signed SNAP waivers — taxpayer dollars no longer going to junk food
✅ 40% of U.S. food and beverage industry has committed to removing artificial dyes from their products
✅ $1.8B redirected to combat the childhood chronic disease epidemic

FDA just approved updated labeling for three more menopause hormone therapy (MHT) products, additionally we are also working to speed up production so that more women can get the treatments they need. This is part of our commitment to women’s health and directly supports a recent Executive Order signed by President Trump on October 19, 2026, that focused on advancing health outcomes for women at every stage of life.

🚨 A major step forward for women’s health: The FDA has approved updated labeling for three more menopause hormone therapy products.
For decades, black box warnings shaped conversations about hormone therapy. These updates bring labeling closer to current science and help women and their health care professionals make informed decisions based on individual needs, benefits, and risks.
Under @POTUS and @SecKennedy's leadership, HHS and @FDA are putting women’s health first — advancing gold standard science, improving access, and helping women get the care that’s right for them.

Hospitals have a responsibility to promote health in every part of patient care, including the food they serve. More than 250 hospitals are taking action to improve nutrition for their patients, staff, and communities.
I am calling on every hospital in America to join them, sign the pledge, and help make healthy food a standard part of health care.
