A 6-year-old girl was grabbed off her bicycle by a stranger and forced into a car in broad daylight.
But a neighbour witnessed the kidnapping and immediately jumped into his own vehicle to chase after them. He desperately tried to keep up, but suddenly lost sight of the car, with the little girl still trapped inside.
It happened in Louisville, Kentucky. Prentiss Weatherford was outside his home when he saw the man grab the little girl and speed away. Refusing to let her disappear, he jumped into his car and took off after the suspect.
As he followed the vehicle through the streets, Prentiss managed to identify it as a red Dodge Challenger and memorize the last three digits of its license plate. But when the car disappeared from sight, he spotted a police officer and quickly passed along everything he knew.
Police immediately began searching the surrounding neighbourhood, using the information Prentiss had given them. About 30 minutes after the kidnapping, officers spotted a vehicle matching his description.
When an officer opened the passenger door, he found the terrified little girl crying for her daddy. He immediately lifted her into his arms and carried her to safety.
The suspect was arrested, and the little girl was reunited with her family, unharmed.
Sometimes, saving a life starts with simply refusing to look the other way. Thank God Prentiss was there when this little girl needed him most.

🚨 A white woman told staff a Black mom threatened her, with no proof but her word and the Black mom and her child got kicked out of a California pumpkin farm.

The Black mom sat down at an empty table. The white woman said she was holding it for her family, who were still in line for food.
The mom says the woman "slammed her hand on the table," then turned to her child, said "you have a mean mother," and pointed a finger in the child's face.
The mom: "I did not threaten her and I have it all on camera." Staff said it had nothing to do with race. Police walked her and her child out of Dell'Osso Farms.
"We're being kicked out... for quite frankly being black."
