“Committed Leftists have for years twisted the Rehabilitation Act to force men into women’s spaces. Today’s action by @HHSGov not only restores the text of the law, which explicitly states that gender identity disorders are not ‘disabilities’ requiring accommodation, but protects vulnerable women.”

Trans activists used a disability law to force women's prisons to house males. But the law says "gender identity disorders" do not require accommodation. Didn't stop crazy judges, of course. Today, HHS shut down that interpretation to protect vulnerable women.
🚨 NEW HHS RULE: Gender dysphoria unrelated to physical impairments is excluded from Section 504 protections.
Why does it matter? Disability law has been used to challenge sex-based prison housing decisions, including requests for placement in women's facilities.
HHS Final Rule Amends Section 504 Regulations to Codify Statutory Exclusions from the Definition of Disability. The rule clarifies that gender dysphoria not resulting from physical impairments is excluded under the Rehabilitation Act.
It is consistent with the Trump Administration’s commitment to combatting gender ideology extremism by using clear and accurate policies that recognize biological truth.

This goes far beyond New Mexico and Texas.
From Wisconsin to California, schools have faced scrutiny over gender support plans that keep parents in the dark.
In March, the Supreme Court found that California's parental-concealment policies likely violated constitutional rights.
So why is parental secrecy still being defended?
