As a Gen Xer, I've been thinking about one way I see the world is turning.
I miss the days when people could have differing opinions and not have it devolve into horrible arguments, name calling, and even cancel culture.
We must do better learning to simply disagree again.
I'm out of here for a few days.

Most of BC's population lives in the south, where permanent Standard Time actually delivers meaningful morning light for kids' sleep and safer school runs. Only 4% of BCians completed 2019 survey and never offered Standard Time as option. Also not weighted by geography. #bcpoli

YES, I'm willing to die on the hill that school kids' 1) sleep quality and 2) safety getting to school in am should have been THE prevailing factors in why permanent Daylight Savings Time was scrapped.
Society built around KIDS benefits all. 👏
