Oh f**k ๐ฅ
Iโm not worried about me, but my heart aches for the negative repercussions my son may have to endure.
Wake up world - itโs later than you think!!
This is nothing to do with politics, it needs a collaborative effort from mankind.

A true โhigh art meets pop cultureโ moment .
When Rudolf Nureyev appeared on The Muppet Show, it wasnโt just TVโit was history.
One of the greatest ballet dancers of all time stepping into a playful, chaotic world of comedy and puppetry, proving that classical art can be both elite and wildly entertaining .
A rare crossover that American audiences still talk about todayโtimeless, unexpected, unforgettable.

So sad to hear Steve Ellis has died. Lead singer of The Love Affair his soulful rendition of โEverlasting Loveโ resonated with a generation.
When I first saw him on TOTP he looked like he was bunking off school. He was 17. Roger Daltrey will be upset tonight - they were great pals.

My late mother was a professional opera singer, whose favorite aria was Nessun Dorma.
Anyway, we watched the 1998 Grammy Awards together because her favorite opera singer, Luciana Pavorotti was scheduled to sing, but at the last minute, he had to cancel due to a sore throat, and with a half hour notice, Aretha Franklin agreed to step in and sing, even though it wasn't her key, and she had no time to rehearse.
This brought the audience to tears.
Watch this amazing performance by the Queen of Soul.

In 1960, doctors told รdith Piaf she was gravely ill. She was told to rest. But her beloved LโOlympia theatre in Paris was facing bankruptcy. A few weeks earlier Charles Dumont and Michel Vaucaire had brought her a new song: โNon, je ne regrette rien.โ She heard it once and claimed it as her own. On December 29th, โthe little sparrowโ walked onto the stage, motionless in her black dress, and sang with unforgettable conviction. That night she saved a theatre. Frail in body, indomitable in spirit, she remains one of the greatest singers of all time.

I first sang Joan Baez songs on my guitar >56yrs ago. I still believe her voice, its timbre and purity is unsurpassed.
I will love her forever. x

From ending our complicity in the genocide in Gaza, to nationalising water, to tackling climate change with the urgency it demands...
Ah no. None of these have been even remotely tackled.
