CsvHelper 34.0.0 has been released. SIMD, allocation free, AOT and trimmable, LINQ provider, parallel processing, and more. This means the API has changed some, but there is extensive documentation to help. joshclose.github.io/CsvHelpe…

Has anyone encountered a CSV file where the escape character inside a double quoted field is not a double quote? ex: "a*"b" A * is used instead of a ". The field wrapping "s could be any character also.

The #dotNETConf website runs one of the fastest data store in the world ... CSV data loaded into memory with LINQ. Best part? We deploy the app, the "database" gets deployed as well. 😎

A huge thanks to the .NET on AWS Open Source Software Fund for sponsoring CsvHelper! I started CsvHelper in 2009 because it was something I needed to use. Never thought it would be used by so many people for so long. github.com/aws/dotnet-foss github.com/sponsors/JoshClos…

Replying to @nietras1
@nietras1 Got it parsing the PackageAsset data using Avx2. I need to see if I can optimize stuff. Then maybe parallel.

Interesting how much faster IndexOfAny is than current CsvHelper. I might have to make this the parser and add other features in like multiple char escapes/delimiters/line endings.

Got the latest @blckriflecoffee merch club gear just in time for the MN State Fair. I think found the perfect patch to put on it too. Check out @JackCarrUSA if you don't recognize it. He's my new favorite author.

Finally went to a @blckriflecoffee location while visiting Nashville. Coincidently, the passenger next to us on the flight in went to high school with @EvanHafer and was telling us all about the great work he and BRCC are doing for vets and others. I didn't catch her name sadly.

This is the kind of American patriotism you can expect at @RedneckRiviera Amazing whiskey too @johnrich Highly recommend both. The vocalist is also a veteran and did an incredible set.
