.@LoonFinance has selected LayerZero's OFT standard to power cross-chain interoperability for its Canadian dollar-backed stablecoin $CADC.
Migrating from a legacy solution, Loon collaborated with LayerZero to design a bespoke solution that satisfied the unique regulatory, compliance, security, and growth needs of $CADC.
Loon's selection of the OFT standard comes after it has received approval from the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) to issue a CAD-backed stablecoin.
@CADCstablecoin is available on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, and Solana, via LayerZero.

Built using Akita, our recently announced lattice-based polynomial commitment scheme, Aerie delivers a major performance breakthrough in post-quantum signature aggregation.
On a MacBook Pro M4 Max, without GPU acceleration:
• 32,768 Falcon-512 signatures aggregated in 0.65 seconds
• 16,384 Falcon-1024 signatures aggregated also in 0.63 seconds
• 2.1 GiB peak memory usage
• 10x faster single-core verification than checking signatures individually
As we prepare for a post-quantum future, Aerie demonstrates that post-quantum security and high performance do not have to be mutually exclusive.
