The first @TeamMicelion player joins my Top 10 list!
At #6 I have @TheManLandTCG
The deep Riftbound lore is that Manland was the only person to take a set off of Alanzq during RQ Bologna weekend and did so during the Pre-RQ, this prompted Alan to change his sideboard heading into the main event to ensure he’d win the mirror if he faced Manland again. He faced him in the Top 8 as predicted and it led to the win, I think that mirror was likely deciding our winner for that RQ.
Manland has performed at every event he’s attended, only falling out of the Top 128 once and has done so playing to the beat of his own drum. Each of his decks his own brew, with Ezreal being a dark horse pick in Bologna and surprising everyone with Ornn in Barcelona only to repeat that success again in LA proving that Ornn was here to stay and no one was piloting it just like him.
The Micelion roster has continued to surprise and impress. Putting 5 unique Legends into Top 8 with 3 of those Legends only ever being represented in Top 8 by Micelion players, and Manland seems to be a large catalyst in pushing that creativity.
In a metagame dominated by a clear top 2 decks, will Manland be the player to find a unique brew to target the meta and waltz his way into becoming our first RC Champion?
Will he answer the call of the Forge God once more or will he discover something brand new?
I can’t wait for deck registration to see what he’s brought, and no matter what it is I can guarantee Manland will be one of the best in the world at piloting.

I have Sam at #7
Sam’s first jump into Riftbound was met with immediate success taking down his first RQ in the thick of the Miracle Draven meta playing Midrange.
There was immediate pushback to him after an interview where the community felt he was disparaging towards “Metal Hunters” but quickly found it to be a misunderstanding caused heavily by his dry humor and calm, casual demeanor and now the community enjoys his content and appreciates him for how direct and honest his commentary can be.
After this event Sam went on to become one such “metal hunter” for most of his subsequent runs but even in these deck selections he was finding success.
Top 64 on Lucian and then making the Finals of Vancouver on Rengar, a deck that many believed to be a B tier selection. In that finals there was an incredibly technical line involving Targon’s Peak triggers that could have left Sam a two-time RQ champion in his first 3 RQs and cemented him in the pantheon of best in the world, but ultimately he lost and Alanzq lifted the trophy for his 2nd time instead.
Sam is tricky to place because he’s only played 6 RQs and some of them being on suboptimal decks (Jax) means there is a bit less data, but with what we’ve seen so far it’s clear that Sam competes at the highest level and has what it takes to spike a major event.
Being back on the best decks in the game with the full mentality shifted away from Metal Cards and towards placing as highly as possible I expect Sam to be a strong contender during the RC season.
I’ve started my streams, for over 7 years, with “g’day to all of the guys, gals and non-binary pals” and my community loves it.

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.
Limited lovers rise up!
Genuinely loving the direction Riftbound is headed, catering to more and more players now they’ve established a strong foundation!

Idgaf about which TCG is better
I love each of my TCG’s FOR their differences
I love Magic
I love Riftbound
We’re all allowed to like and dislike things but when it comes to TCG’s, it ain’t that serious.

At #8 I have DZiden of ChallengerTCG
Daniel was a major star of the first half of the year making 3 top 8s in the first 6 RQs of the game, while spending two of them sidequesting for a Jinx Best of, this gave him an argument for best player in Riftbound for a time.
The fall off has been palpable in recent RQs but to those who follow more than just the Riot circuit he has continued to put up results in 3rd party tournaments and shown that the skill is still there the RQs just have not been his event.
Some may have forgotten the guy who made the finals of the first RQ with the terrible name (blargh1111) and the shirt with challenger tcg written (poorly) on it in marker, but I remember.
Put the best deck in Dziden’s hands and he’ll be a pilot capable of spiking the event any given weekend. So even with the last few events not going his way I truly believe he’s a threat to win at the RC level and I expect big things from him and the CTCG squad.
Once Emily finishes university for 2026, we’re scrimming NON-STOP until #RBRAuckland
She’s determined to win a Best Of and im determined to help her.
It also helps me with my casting.
I aspire to be this level of considerate and humble.
Faker the goat for real.
Riot hit the lottery with getting Faker as the face of their esport.
I’m genuinely so grateful to Faker. At the venue in Texas, you wouldn’t know which side of the floor the players would be on until the blue/red side selection was announced on the morning of the match. So if you bought tickets for the wrong side (D or F), you wouldn’t get to high-five your favorite players unless you paid extra for tickets on the opposite side or found someone willing to swap seats with you. And for T1 fans, that’s incredibly difficult.
But Faker always makes sure to high-five fans on both sides. For example, if he walks in through side D, he’ll always go over to side F to high-five fans on his way out, so fans on both sides get a chance to high-five him.
This completely eliminates the risk of Faker fans spending extra money before the match just because they want a high-five from him. What an incredible person with such thoughtful and considerate character. I feel so lucky to be his fan. #faker
Genuinely keen for Karma and Ashe.
And I love that they’ve got Ashe and Tryndamere as their Freljord Legends.
Riftbound Legacy Confirmed & Expected Legends
With the information available surrounding Legacy, the current speculation is that the Legends for Legacy will occupy 6 regions of Runeterra: Freljord, Demacia, Noxus, Ionia, Piltover & Zaun, and Bilgewater.
Freljord & Demacia have the pairings of Ashe & Tryndamere (Wife & Husband) and Garen & Lux (Brother & Sister), respectively.
We are missing 4 Legends to complete the pairings for Noxus, Ionia, Piltover & Zaun, and Bilgewater.
Who do you think will be a new Legend for these regions? 🤔
