A bus bumped a car. Police responded. No one was in danger.
Thankfully, George Mason University made counseling available to students who may have been 'triggered' by the sight of police officers doing their jobs.
Please keep the GMU community in your thoughts as they begin the long process of healing from witnessing a routine traffic response.
We’re confident they’ll get through this—with counseling, community support, and perhaps a brief moment outside the liberal campus bubble.

Since refocusing on our historic mission—advocating for LGB Republicans—the attention has been extraordinary.
Not all of it has been friendly.
Good.
The left is attacking us for refusing to embrace their radical agenda, while illogical activists on the right like Katy Faust argue that you can’t be both conservative and supportive of gay Americans. Faust even suggested we "drop the rest of the acronym too."
Our response? Katy Faust doesn't get to decide who is a Republican or a conservative.
By that logic, you’d have to purge much of the current GOP leadership—from Donald Trump to the dozens of House and Senate members who work with us every single Congress to advance our mission.
We aren't letting anyone kick gay Republicans out of the conservative movement.
And the message is hitting home. We’re seeing a massive surge in new membership inquiries, new chapter requests, and gay conservatives looking for a political home.
The momentum is real, but scaling this fight takes resources.
