I had to pay for a carer to stay with me all day in case the engineer arrived. That means Scottish Power's last-minute cancellation hasn't just wasted my day, it's cost me money too. Disabled people are constantly told to be available for appointments, only to have companies treat our time as if it has no value. It does. We have lives, we make arrangements, and those arrangements often come with extra costs that non-disabled people never have to think about. Cancelling at 3pm after expecting someone to wait in all day is simply not good enough. I'm looking forward to hearing how Scottish Power plan to put this right'
